About the Process

How often should I clean my solar panels?

For homes we recommend cleaning every 8 weeks between April/May through October/November (depending on weather).  Some may require cleaning more often; every 6 weeks.  Commercial and agricultural sites cleaning schedules vary.

Do you need to have water access onsite?

No, we make and bring out own water to all sites.

Do I have to be home for my solar panel cleaning?

No, you do not need to be home for the cleaning.  Our crew will text you about ½ hour prior to arriving at your home.  They will take before and after pictures of your panels and we will email or mail you an invoice after your cleaning.

Do my solar panels have to be cleaned when it is cool?

No, our water is brought to your site in our tanks and heats up throughout the day so it will not shock the panels.

Are you insured?

Yes, we are fully insured with general liability and worker’s compensation insurance.

About the Quality

Do you use chemicals to clean solar panels?

We do not use chemicals at all.  We use laboratory grade water that does not have any minerals in it.  We also use brushes with mechanical agitation made specifically for solar panels.

Can I use regular tap water to clean my solar panels?

Regular tap water is not recommended due to its high mineral content.  Using regular tap water can cause residue buildup on your solar panels which reduces its efficiency.
